Turbine installation

Bas van den Kieboom is Quality engineer at Blauwwind. During a stroll through the harbour of Scheveningen he explains the process of installing the turbines off shore.

The installation of the MHI Vestas turbines is a delicate job. The Installation vessel Aeolus can carry up to four turbines per trip. The load consist of 12 blades, 4 poles and 4 Nacelles. See the video below for the full story.
