In 2023 Blauwwind welcomed Glennmont Partners (Nuveen) as a new Blauwwind Shareholder, bringing valuable investment expertise in renewable energy generation projects.
In addition, in February 2024 UK based Octopus Energy Generation joined the Blauwwind joint venture, one of the Europe's largest investors in renewable energy, known for their commitment to transition to a cleaner, greener future through renewable projects.
Both parties bought remaining shares from Partners Group who have now exited the consortium after joining the project pre-FID.
The Blauwwind Board now consists of 7 shareholders, each with diverse skills and expertise, all contributing to Blauwwind's commitment to the safe and sustainable operation of the Borssele III/IV Offshore Windfarm.
